"My brother was in medical school when I was exposed to medicine at an early age.   Since I always liked science and enjoyed helping people,  growing up to become a doctor like my brother seemed a natural thing to do.  I'm glad I did, too.  I love helping people get
back to their active lives."

Putting patients first

"Patients often worry that seeing an orthopaedic surgeon means they will have surgery.  In reality, only about 10% of my patients ever require surgery.   I am well-able to help the rest with a multitude of other treatments.  If I could, I'd wave a magic wand over them and get them all better without surgery."

In his spare time, Dr. Norman, an excellent golfer, likes to coach children’s teams in multiple sports in the Dalton City and Whitfield County Recreation Departments.  He also enjoys volunteering at Children’s Medical Center, where he helps handicapped children.
